Guhl Earns CoSIDA Academic All-District Honors

OMAHA, Neb. – Kaitlyn Guhl is named a CoSIDA Academic All-District Selection, CoSIDA announced Thursday afternoon. It marks the second straight honor for the junior defender.
Guhl becomes the first Division I era player in program history to earn the award twice in her career.
The Houston, Texas native boasts a 4.00 GPA as a biomechanics major. In addition to her CoSIDA award, Guhl was named Academic All-Summit for the second time in her career in late May. She is also a two-time member of the Summit League Academic Honor Roll.
Guhl played in 17 matches this season and made 14 starts. She logged over 1,100 minutes on the pitch as a defender. Guhl helped the Mavericks post nine of their 10 shutouts this season, which is a new program single-season record in the Division I era. Guhl also tallied an assist this season at Denver.
