Mavericks In Arkansas For Lady Red Wolves Classic

Jonesboro, Ark.- The Omaha women's golf team is back in action next week at the Lady Red Wolves Classic hosted by Arkansas State.
The Red Wolves welcome 13 schools, including Austin Peay, Central Arkansas, Eastern Kentucky, Houston Baptist, Louisiana Monroe, Memphis, North Alabama, Samford, Southern Mississippi, Stephen F. Austin, Texas A&M Commerce, and Troy, to Sage Meadows country club in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
The lineup for the Mavericks is unchanged for the fourth event of the fall:

Sydney Taake is coming off her best placing as a Maverick. The sophomore earned fourth place at the Big O Classic last week, and currently has the second-best stroke average on the team at 77.6. Macarena Garcia takes the No. 2 spot in the lineup after finishing in 11th place last week. The freshman looks to make it three-straight weeks in the top-20, after earning 15th at the Kelsey Chugg Invitational. Nicole Hansen also broke the top-20 last week, finishing in 18th place. The graduate transfer recorded her first top-20 finish as a Maverick at the home invite.
The best scoring average goes to Emily Karmazin. The freshman has a 77.4 average through three events and will look to improve on that from the No. 4 spot in this event. Mika Miyata earned her best finish of the season, taking 27th place last week at the Big O Classic. Emma Kirvan is golfing individually for the third time this season. The sophomore finished in 64th place at the Kelsey Chugg Invitational, and most recently took 46th at the Big O Classic.
