Zimmers Garners All-Region Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Regan Zimmers was named to the 2022 United Soccer Coaches All-West Region Second Team Wednesday morning. This is the first All-Region Accolade of her career.
Zimmers was tabbed All-Summit League First Team in late October.
Over the 2022 season, Zimmers helped Omaha to eight shutouts, including three straight during the Summit League Tournament helping the Mavericks to their first ever Summit League Title and NCAA Tournament berth as a Division I program.
Zimmers logged 1,930 minutes on the pitch this season and played the full duration in all but three matches.
The junior defender tallied one goal and two assists this season. She scored in Omaha's 2-1 win vs. St. Thomas. She assisted in a 3-0 shutout vs. Western Illinois and recorded an assist on the game-winner at Oral Roberts.
