Women's Tennis Unveils 2023 Spring Schedule

The Omaha Women's Tennis team has announced their 2023 spring schedule. The season slate is highlighted by 11 home matches and kicks off on January 14 against the University of Tulsa in the first match of the Hurricane Invite.
"I am very excited to get started in the spring. We are going to be playing a lot of tennis and against some very good teams. I think we have a great schedule in front of us," Omaha head coach Adam Summitt said. "We will start off will a challenging weekend in Tulsa vs some great teams, and ones we don't get to see very often."
The Mavericks will enjoy limited travel and plenty of home matches in the month of February. They'll open the month up against Creighton and Bradley University the first weekend of February. The Mavericks will hop on the road for two quick matches the next weekend and then be home at Miracle Hill Tennis Center for the rest of the month against Fort Hays State, Milwaukee, Georgetown and DePaul.
"We have a stretch of matches here in Omaha that will give fans plenty of chances to watch this team. We are set up well going into Summit League play," Summitt said.
Omaha's conference schedule features Denver, North Dakota, Oral Roberts, St. Thomas and South Dakota. The Mavericks had conference wins against St. Thomas and North Dakota last season.
"Our hope is that what we will see in league play, we will be ready for. I think every team in the league keeps improving, so we have to be ready to go each match. The goal will always remain the same, to make it to the conference championships and win the title," Summitt said. "Hope to see everyone out at Miracle Hills or Koch Tennis Center."
