Omaha, Neb.- The Omaha women's golf team heads to the third-straight tournament in Texas, this time at the HBU-Husky Invitational Monday and Tuesday, March 14-15.Â
Thirteen teams join the host Houston Baptist at Riverbend Country Club in Sugarland, Texas. Austin Peay, Bowling Green, North Dakota, Sam Houston, South Dakota, Tarleton, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, USC-Upstate, UT-El Paso, UT-Arlington, UT-Rio Grande Valley, and Western Illinois make up the field.Â

The Mavericks scored a total of 947 as a team at the South Texas Showdown hosted by UT-Rio Grande Valley last week, taking tenth place out of sixteen.Â
Junior Mandi Granato finished in 11th place on the leaderboard at UTRGV, scoring 229(+13).Â
Freshmen Sydney Taake and Emma Kirvan ended the invite in a tie for 42nd place after scoring 240 in three rounds.Â
Sophomores Mika Miyata and Jinna Boonbumroongsuk scored 248 and 242, respectively. Boonbumroongsuk tied for 47th place and Miyata took 62nd overall.Â
