
Mavericks Set For Summit League Championship

Omaha, Neb.- The Omaha men's golf team is prepared for the 2022 Summit League Championship at Sand Creek Station Golf Course May 1-3.
Action from Newton, Kan. begins at 8 A.M. Sunday, with the Mavericks taking the tees from 9-9:30 A.M. The 54-hole tournament is spread out across three days, with one round of golf on each of the three days. The weather ranges from 68-74 degrees, with a chance of rain and scattered thunderstorms for the final round on Tuesday at the par-72 course of 7,08 yards in central Kansas.
The Maverick lineup stays the same for the Summit League Championship.
Omaha enters the final tournament of the season after a three-week break. The Mavericks last played host to eight teams at the Stampede at the Creek in Elkhorn, placing third with a total team score of 877.
The past nine seasons have ended at the Summit League Championship. The Mavericks' best finish came in 2015-16, when Omaha was the runner-up.
