Lemay Named Week 2 NCHC Defenseman of the Week

Sophomore blueliner Jo Lemay has been named the Week 2 NCHC Defenseman of the Week after a one-goal, two-assist weekend helping the Mavericks sweep the Niagara Purple Eagles last weekend.
Lemay opened the weekend with a two-point night. He scored the Mavericks lone power play goal of the night and registered the primary assist on Omaha's fifth goal.
The Quebec native returned the following night by scoring the game winning goal on the power play with 10:18 to play in regulation. Lemay also had a hand in the Mavericks going 6-for-6 on the penalty kill last weekend.
Lemay and the Mavericks head to a bye week and will resume play on October 27, when they welcome Ohio State to town.
