Track and Field to Make 2023-24 Debut at SDSU Holiday Classic

The Omah Track and Field team is set to make their 2023-24 indoor debut tomorrow at the SDSU Holiday Invite and Multi.
"This is a meet where we get a first taste of competition," Omaha head coach Chris Richardson said. This isn't a make-or-break moment of the season, but rather an opportunity to see where we are and what we still need to work on. For most, this will be the earliest track meet they have ever competed in."
After tomorrow's meet, the Mavericks won't compete again until January 12 and 13 when they head to Lincoln to participate in the Graduate Classic.
In total, the Mavericks indoor season consists of eight meets with the inside portion of the campaign coming to an end on February 23 and 24 at the Summie League Championships in Fargo, North Dakota.
Earlier today, the Summit League announced their Preseason Coaches Poll and Athletes to watch list. Omaha sophomore's Kamryn Ensley and Emma Klein were both tabbed as Athletes to Watch for the indoor season.
