Mavericks Wrap Up Second of Three Events in Texas

McAllen, Texas— The Omaha women's golf team completed the UTRGV Invitational with the final round on Tuesday.
The Mavericks shot 324 in the final round for a three-round total of 953. Omaha takes 12th place, falling eight strokes behind Texas Southern and Texas A&M Kingsville, which share 10th place with totals of 945.
Nicole Hansen led the Mavericks with a 76 (+5) in the final round. Hansen finished in 28th place with a score of 230 over three rounds. Emily Karmazin tied for 43rd place with a 54-hole score of 235.
Macarena Garcia placed 62nd with a total score of 244. Sydney Taake was two strokes behind Garcia, taking 66th place. Miyata finished two strokes behind Taake and in 68th place overall.
The Mavericks wrap up the Texas-leg of the spring season at the HCU Husky Invitational next Monday and Tuesday, Mar. 13-14.
