Men's Soccer Announces Full 2023 Slate

Head men's soccer coach Donovan Dowling announced the 2023 schedule Friday afternoon. The Mavericks will play 10 matches on their home turf.
First on the schedule are a trio of exhibition matches. Omaha will head to Central Arkansas on August 12 and then return to Caniglia Field for a pair of matches against Bellevue and Iowa Western, August 15 and August 18, respectively.
The regular season kicks off on the road for Omaha this season. The Mavericks meet Incarnate Word on August 24 and Houston Christian on August 27.
Omaha will return home for a three-match homestand and make their Caniglia Field debut on August 31 against UC Irvine. They'll also play Grand Canyon (Sept. 4) and Chicago State (Sept. 9).
The Mavericks will play Drake on the road on September 13 and UTRGV at home on September 16 before opening conference play on September 23 against Kansas City. Omaha closes out September against Western Illinois at home on September 30.
The Mavericks hit the road for three matches to open up October. They'll face intra-city rival Creighton (Oct. 3), Oral Roberts (Oct. 7) and Missouri State (Oct. 11).
It will be Summit League play the rest of the way for the Mavericks following the road trip. The remaining five matches for the Mavericks before the postseason will be against St. Thomas (Oct. 14), at Denver (Oct. 18), Kansas City (Oct. 21), at Western Illinois (Oct. 28) and against Oral Roberts at home to wrap up the regular season.
The 2023 Summit League Tournament will be held in Tulsa this season. Semifinals will kick off on November 9 with the championship match on Nov. 11.
