Grace Crockett Named Summit League Defender of the Week

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Following her record-breaking weekend in Omaha, Grace Crockett has been named the Summit League Defensive Peak Performer of the Week.
Crockett totaled 163 minutes in two matches last week as she led the Mavericks to their second and third consecutive 1-0 shutouts to close out their home schedule. On Sunday, she came through on an early corner kick to set up Marissa Gohr for the game's only goal. The assist was not only her third of the season, but the 15th of her career, giving her the new program record for career assists in the Division I era.
This is the second career Defensive Player of the Week honor for Crockett, first winning the award on August 21, 2023.
Grace and the Mavericks will play their final three matches of the regular season on the road as they look to claim the number one seed heading into the Summit League Tournament. First up is a match at Denver on Thursday at 8 p.m. (CT), followed by a 1 p.m. match at Oral Roberts on Sunday.
