Mavericks Fall to Drake in Weekends Opening Dual

The Omaha women's tennis team fell to the Drake Bulldogs in the first dual of the weekend.

Colby Kelley picked up a single point for Omaha tonight in the No. 6 singles spot.
"Proud of the effort and poise of the team today," said head coach Adam Summitt. "We committed to having strong energy and effort throughout the match, regardless of score. I thought we did just that. We had ample opportunities to take some matches. Drake was too good in certain situations."
"Really proud of Colby Kelley. She's battled through an injury, surgery and rehab to get here and win."
The Omaha Mavericks will compete again on Sunday at 9 a.m. at Miracle Hill.
