Mavericks Swept by Nebraska

The Omaha women's tennis team was swept by Nebraska 7-0 Sunday afternoon.
Khayli Buckels and Lillian Tiemeyer had close matches both going to three sets.
"We played a really good Nebraska team and I thought that we played very well," said head coach Adam Summitt. "We wanted to compete and play with nothing to lose and felt we did just that. Nebraska is solid and once they got the first sets they could relax and be more aggressive. Probably our best match vs Nebraska since I've been here and shows that we keep improving week after week."
The Mavericks be back home at Miracle Hill on Saturday, March 9 at 2 p.m. to host Denver for their first home conference dual.
