Four Mavericks receive Summit League Women's Tennis honors

OMAHA, Neb. - Omaha Women's Tennis's junior Zoe Adkins and freshmen duo of Katelynn Kock and Nina Wiese have been named members of the All-Summit League team, and sophomore Khayli Buckels is an All-Summit League Honorable Mention, the conference announced Thursday.
"We're incredibly proud of these four student-athletes for being recognized for All-Summit League," head coach Adam Summitt said. "Their hard work, consistency, and commitment to the team all season long have been outstanding. This recognition is a testament to the level of dedication they bring to the court every day, and we are excited to see them honored among the conference's best."
Adkins is 10-8 this season and is 6-4 over her last 10 matches.
Kock is 13-9 this season and has recorded a record of 7-3 over her last 10 matches. Her overall record is tied for the second-best among all Mavericks.
Wiese leads the Mavericks with a 15-5 record this season and is 8-2 in her last 10 matches. In the third singles spot, Wiese is 10-2. The freshman also enters the Summit League Championships on a 10-match win streak.
Buckels, named a player to watch by the Summit League in the preseason, put together a winning record tied with Kock for Omaha's second-best of 13-9.
