Men’s Soccer shuts out Bradley in 4-0 win

OMAHA, Neb. - Omaha Men's Soccer tallied four goals in a shutout win over Bradley on Thursday night at Caniglia Field.
The Mavericks (2-0-1) scored four for the second time this season and secured their second shutout in a row to beat the Braves (0-1-2).
Junior midfielder Amari Fowlkes (Carmel, Ind.) scored his second goal of the season in the 68th minute to put the Mavs up 2-0 against his former team.
Junior forward Maguire Perkins (Gretna, Neb.) opened scoring in the 24th minute off an assist from sophomore midfielder Jeppe Runge (Odense, Denmark). His older brother senior midfielder Brett Perkins (Gretna, Neb.) made it a family affair with a goal of his own in the 82nd minute via senior defender Lucas Foreman (Fremont, Neb.).
In the 84th minute, junior forward Derek Johnson (Gig Harbor, Wash.) closed out the match off an assist from junior midfielder Jeremiah Hteh (Omaha, Neb.).
The Mavs tallied 15 shots with 10 on-goal compared to the Braves' four shots with three on-target.
Omaha will hit the road for the first time this season with a trip to Utah Valley on Thursday, Sept. 3 then UCLA on Sunday, Sept. 6.
