Played 15 games for Lake Superior State last season before coming to Omaha and finishing the season with the Omaha Lancers...Recorded one assist as a Laker before transferring at winter break to play with the Lancers...Tallied 12 goals and 15 assists for 27 points as a Lancer in 34 games...Played for the Des Moines Buccaneers of the USHL in 2000-2001 and racked up 28 goals and 24 assists along with 126 penalty minutes.

“Ryan has to sit out the first half of the season after transferring from Lake Superior State. He is a gritty, hard-nosed two-way hockey player. We expect Ryan to contribute both in the offensive end and the defensive end for our team.”
