Recorded a 7-13 singles record, playing every singles position except No. 1...primarily played No. 4 singles and finished with a 3-6 record and also went 3-3 at No. 5 singles...posted a 2-2 mark in Summit League play, the only Maverick to win more than one Summit League match...tied for the team lead with seven wins on the season...combined to go 4-16 in doubles play, including a 4-10 record with Conner Tieszen.
2011-12 (Sophomore)
In his first year at UNO after transferring from Drury University, finished 1-14 in singles play, serving primarily as the Mavs' No. 1 player with a 1-12 record in that spot...combined to go 5-9 in doubles play...earned 4-6 with Peter Greteman at No. 1 doubles.
Before UNO
Played one season at Drury University in Springfield, Mo., before transferring to UNO...posted a 4-2 singles record and won his first four matches of the season as a freshman...was 7-9 in doubles for the 2010-11 season...won two of the last three doubles matches he played...was a top player in his native Mexico and earned a top-15 Junior National Ranking...was the Cup No. 1 Obregon Champion, which is a top junior tournament in Mexico...also was the state champion of Sonora, placed second at sectionals and was fifth at the Tijuana Nationals in 2009...earned a top-10 Junior National Doubles Ranking...was on the third-place team at nationals and was a finalist in doubles at the Tijuana Nationals...was also on the state doubles championship team from 2008-10 and the regional doubles championship team from 2006-10.
