Mavs, Seniors Close Regular Season Saturday
Minnesota State, Mankato will be the opponent Saturday at Caniglia Field as the Mavericks and their 12 seniors close the regular season. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. UNO, ranked Nos. 24 and 25, enters the game at 7-3 overall and 4-2 in the North Central Conference.
Tailback Justin Kammrad, who broke the school single-season rushing record of Adam Wright last week, will be trying to add to his numbers. Kammrad has 1,558 yards on the year and is riding a string of nine straight 100-yard games.
Beside Kammrad, the other seniors playing in their final game at Caniglia Field are Brandon Pinderhughes, Ryan Krause, Dustin Donahoo, Chris Moore, Nick Sutko, Ryan Stubbendeck, Gabe Meints, Brad Borland, Chad Westphalen, David Sutter and Thadd Recek.
