Garcia, Allibone Collect Titles at UNK
KEARNEY, Neb. -- Cody Garcia and Patrick Allibone each won titles for the Mavericks Saturday in the UNK Open at the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
Garcia had three pins and a major decision in his four matches en route to the 125-pound title. Allibone also finished 4-0 while winning the 157-pound crown.
Other Mavericks to place included Christian Alt, 6-1 and third at 141 pounds; Jay Wood, 4-2 and fourth at 174; Nate Oviatt, 4-1 and third at 184, and Ben Strandberg, 4-2 and 5th at 197.
