Mavericks Open Spring Drills Monday
Coach Pat Behrns and his staff will send the Mavericks onto the field Monday for the first of 15 spring practice sessions that will run through Saturday April 16 with a game-type intrasquad scrimmage.
The North Central Conference defending champions, 8-3 each of the past two seasons, will have 35 letterwinners and 19 starters back in uniform.
The Mavs will practice this week on Monday and Wednesday without pads and Thursday and Saturday in full pads.
