Five Mavs Seeded First at Regional
MANKATO, Minn. -- Five Mavericks are seeded first in their weight classes at Sunday's NCAA Division II North Regional Wrestling Tournament at Minnesota State University. The first matches begin at 12 p.m., with the finals set for 6 p.m.
All of UNO's matches throughout the tournament will be available free via video webcast with Jim Bayly calling all of the action.
Cody Garcia, 125; Todd Meneely, 149; Ross Taplin, 174; Brent Pankoke, 184; and Jacob Marrs, 197 were all seeded No. 1 in the Regional. The top four finishers in each of the 10 weight classes will advance to the NCAA II National Tournament on March 14-15 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
