Lettered two years for Head Coach Frank Ryan…Honored as a first-team all-state selection by the Omaha World-Herald and first-team Super State by the Lincoln Journal Star…Chosen for the Collin-Orcutt All-Star Game…Played three seasons of varsity American Legion ball…Helped the Wildcats win a state championship in the summer of 2008, advancing to the American Legion World Series…Helped MWHS go 27-10 in the spring in 2009, followed by a 42-6 summer record, a state title and a berth to the American Legion regional tournament…As a senior, batted .443 with 52 runs scored, 33 RBI, four home runs and 30 stolen bases…In 2010, helped his spring tam to a 32-5 record and fourth-place showing at the state tournament…Added a 45-7 summer record and state tournament appearance…Also lettered one year in football as a senior, playing wide receiver and cornerback, and was a member of the Wildcats’ state runner-up squad.
