MIAA Tennis Championship Bracket
The UNO men's tennis match against Northwest Missouri State in Maryville, Mo., on Tuesday afternoon has been canceled.
The Mavericks will now turn their attention to the MIAA Tennis Championship, set to begin on Thursday at the Plaza Tennis Center in Kansas City, Mo.
The 4th-seeded Mavericks (8-8, 2-2) will play No. 5 seed Emporia State (7-8, 1-4) on Thursday at 1 p.m. The winner will move on to face top-seeded Northwest Missouri State on Friday at 11 a.m. The loser will play at 9 a.m. on Friday in the fifth-place match. UNO defeated Emporia State, 5-4, last Thursday.
On the other side of the bracket, No. 3 Washburn and No. 6 Truman will battle for a spot in the semifinals, where No. 2 Southwest Baptist awaits.
