Don Klosterman will take aim at a coaching milestone when he leads UNO into its 14th season in 2012. The only head coach the University of Nebraska Omaha has had, Klosterman has a 198-69-12 record, just two wins from win number 200 in his outstanding career at UNO. The two-time Division II National Coach of the Year has led the Mavericks to the national semifinals four times, culminating in the 2005 NCAA Division II National Championship. Assistant coach Ted Anderson is in his 14th season at UNO and has been with Klosterman every step of the way.

OMAHA, Neb. - The UNO women's soccer team fell to Oral Roberts 2-0 on a windy Friday at the UNO Soccer Field. With winds gusting up to 30 mph, the Golden Eagles took advantage in the second half with the wind at their backs, scoring two goals to take the win and improve to 5-3-2. The Mavericks (0-10) controlled play with the wind at their backs in the first half, but Layla Ashouri's shot off the right post was as close as the Mavs could get to scoring. Oral Roberts went up 1-0 at 49:51, as Mary-Kate Halsmer slipped behind the defense and took a through ball from Megan Giles. Halsmer finished the breakaway to break the deadlock. The Golden Eagles made it 2-0 at 77:58 after Ashley Martin followed home her own saved penalty kick. UNO goalie Meaghan Clark dove and deflected the PK off the left post, but it bounced back to Martin, who finished the rebound.
