Omaha Faces League Foe South Dakota on Tuesday

OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha women's tennis team welcomes South Dakota for a Summit League matchup this Tuesday, April 12. The match is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at Koch Tennis Center.
Omaha fell to 9-10 (0-2 Summit League) on the season after an 0-2 road trip to Colorado over the weekend. Omaha dropped matches to No. 40 Denver (7-0) and Colorado State (4-0) in Denver, Colo.
The Mavericks are led in singles play by junior Kenzie Hill (7-10) and freshman Janelle Wilson (7-5), who each have seven singles victories on the season. Junior Hylan Miller and sophomore Michelle Lo form Omaha's top doubles team, having posted an 8-3 record on the season at the No. 1 position.
South Dakota enters the midweek matchup with an 8-9 (1-0 Summit League) record on the season. The Coyotes are coming off of a 6-1 conference victory over Western Illinois on April 2 in Macomb, Ill. USD is led by Elise van Zijst, who has a 9-7 record in singles play.
Omaha returns to action on Thursday, April 21 for a home match against IUPUI at Miracle Hill Golf and Tennis Center at 10 a.m.
