Dineen, Dregelid Lead Omaha in Women’s Soccer Scrimmage

OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha women's soccer team took Caniglia Field for its first live action of the 2017 season Friday evening.
The match consisted of two, 35-minute halves, and Team Black prevailed, 2-0.
Junior transfer Susie Dineen opened the scoring midway through the first half, heading home a corner kick from Carlie Cook to send the Black team into the break with the lead, 1-0.
Less than six minutes into the second half, junior Marin Dregelid connected on an unassisted goal to put the Black team ahead, 2-0.
The Mavericks face No. 17 Arkansas in their first exhibition contest of the season on Thursday, Aug. 10 in Fayetteville, Ark.
