Final Results

OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha women's golf team finished the fall season with a fourth-place finish at the Creighton Classic.

The Mavericks shot a team score of 311 in the final round of the 36-hole tournament for a total score of 631. Northern Iowa won the event with a score of 602. South Dakota was second at 613, and Drake took third at 616.

Freshman Zora Gittens led the Mavericks for the second straight tournament. She shot 76 in the final round for a total of 157, good for a tie for 11th place.

Samantha Chong and Mandy Boyle tied for second on the team and 15th overall with scores of 159. Chong closed with a round of 80 while Boyle shot 76.
They finished three strokes ahead of Jordan York who shot 79 to post a total score of 162, putting her in a tie for 25th overall.

Hannah Hunke rounded out the scoring for the Mavericks with a final round of 88 to finish at 165.

Sami Langford, playing as an individual, shot 92 in the final round for a total score of 172.

The Mavericks return to action in February.
