DENVER, Colo. – The Omaha men's soccer team suffered a 1-0 setback at Denver in the Summit League Championship match presented by U.S. Air Force Special Warfare on Saturday afternoon in Denver, Colo.

How It Happened
- The Mavericks attacked early in the fifth minute when Pep Mateu sent the ball forward from the backline to a crashing Andreas Hermansson, but the attempt flew wide of the goal.
- Omaha nearly scored the first goal of the match when Diego Gutierrez fed Junior Noutoua on the left side of the box, but Noutoua's strike was rejected by a leaping DU keeper.
- Denver took the 1-0 lead off a 30-yard blast off the foot of Preston Judd.
- Denver outshot the Mavericks by a margin of 8-7.
- Gutierrez led the Omaha offense with three shots.
- Hermansson, Noutoua, Aaron Uribe and Billy Hoffmann attempted one shot apiece.
- Marcos Bautista, Seth Rinderknecht and Mateu were named to the All-Tournament team.
- Omaha finishes the 2019 season with a 4-9-4 overall record.
