Mavericks Play Next at UT Rio Grande Valley

OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha women's golf team returns to action at the UT Rio Grande Valley Invitational on Monday and Tuesday, March 11-12.
The tournament features 36 holes on Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday at the McAllen Country Club. Play begins each day at 8:30 a.m.
The Mavericks last played on Feb. 26, finishing in a tie for 31st out of 48 teams at the Kiawah Island Spring Classic in South Carolina. They posted a score of 924.
Mandy Boyle led the Mavericks in scoring for the tournament at 228, good for a tie for 99th in the field of 254 golfers.
Samantha Chong was second on the team and tied for 121st overall with a final total of 231. Sami Langford posted a three-round total of 233. She finished in a tie for 136th.
Jordan York was fourth on the team and tied for 156th overall with a score of 236, and Zora Gittens finished the scoring for UNO with a final score of 238, good for a tie for 174th.
Following play in Texas, the Mavericks will take part in the Red Rocks Invitational hosted by Northern Arizona on March 24-25.
