AMES, Iowa – The Omaha women's soccer team concluded the weekend with a 1-0 loss at Iowa State on Sunday afternoon in Ames, Iowa.

The result marks the third consecutive match the Mavericks have fallen 1-0 while the overall record on the season dips to 1-4-1.

How It Happened

Omaha drew the first shot on target in the 10^th minute when Amanda Rapaduski's shot was saved by the ISU keeper.
The Maverick defense held off the Cyclones as Iowa State attack tallied five shots in the final 16 minutes of the first half.
The Cyclones netted the game-winner in the 72^nd minute on a header off a cross in front of the goal.
Omaha quickly responded two minutes later, but Avarie Howard's header attempt sailed wide of the net.

Iowa State tallied a dominant 26-8 advantage in shots over the Mavericks.
Rapaduski recorded three shots, including a pair on target while Sophia Roux, Jaden Thiem, Abby Meader, Laurin Mertz and Howard attempted one shot each.
