OMAHA, Neb. – The Mavericks open the 2021 fall slate at the Jackrabbit Intercollegiate hosted by South Dakota State. Omaha will begin competition Monday morning and play will wrap up on Tuesday, Sept. 13.

The 10 team field includes, CSU Fullerton, North Dakota, North Dakota State, Northern Iowa, Omaha, St. Thomas, South Dakota, South Dakota State, Sioux Falls, and Green Bay. The invitational will be held at Brookings Country Club with a par 72.

The Mavericks added four new faces to the 2021-22 squad. Emma Kirvan, Maddie Simon, Baylee Steele, and Sydney Taake will make their Omaha debut this year.

Six other Mavericks return to the course. They're led by junior Mandi Granato who returns as Omaha's leader. She finished last season with an 80.8 stroke average. She posted four top-10 finishes last season, including two top-5 and an individual medal at the Maverick Invitational at the Creek.
