Mavs to Compete Saturday in UNK Meet
The No. 1 ranked Maverick wrestling team will continue its season Saturday when it competes in the University of Nebraska at Kearney Open and the Health and Sports Center in Kearney.
The Mavericks, the defending NCAA II champions, maintained their pre-season top ranking in the latest poll, conducted by the National Wrestling Coaches Association, released earlier this week.
The UNK tournament is the final meet for the Mavs in the 2004 portion of their schedule. UNO will get back on the mats Jan. 8 at the Dana Open.
