Redshirt freshman had steady improvement during the season...his best game was a 17-point, five rebound, four assist game vs. Midland Lutheran 12-18...very athletic player, he appeared in every game until 2-23 vs. UNC... averaging 11 minutes...tied career-best with 6 rebounds vs. North Dakota State.

A 2000 graduate of Omaha Central High School...averaged 12.9 points, eight rebounds and three assists while shooting 45 percent from the field and 87 percent from the free throw line in his three-year varsity career with the Eagles...earned all-state honorable mention honors...played in the high school All-Star game held at UNO as a senior...scored 28 points twice in his career, pulled down 12 rebounds and recorded 10 assists, all single-game individual bests.

“Boomer” had a very productive summer and has really worked hard to prepare himself for the upcoming season. His perimeter shooting has improved and his strength and quickness have improved from last year. He had some minor surgery and some nagging injuries last season. If he stays healthy and works hard, I look for him to have a breakout year for us.”
