UNO Hosts No. 2 UMD, Travels To Augustana

The University of Nebraska at Omaha (14-5/5-1) volleyball team will conclude its three-match homestand this Friday, Oct. 21, when they host second-ranked Minnesota Duluth (18-2/5-0) beginning at 7 p.m. in the Sapp Fieldhouse. The Mavericks will then travel to Sioux Falls, S.D. on Saturday, Oct.22, where they will face Augustana (11-8/3-4 NCC) at 7 p.m.

Minnesota Duluth is currently ranked No. 2 in the nation and is leading the NCC with a 18-2 overall record and a 5-0 NCC mark. The Bulldogs have won 17-straight matches. UMD is led by sophomore All-American Vicky Braegelmann who is averaging 4.06 kills per game on .354 hitting. Sophomore Kari Wolford is second on the team with 3.13 kills per game. Senior Alicia Meger is averaging a team-leading 1.24 blocks per game. Senior Allison Boddy leads the Bulldog defense with 5.03 digs per game.
