Shires Signs Five During Early Signing Period

University of Nebraska at Omaha volleyball coach Rose Shires announced today the signing of five high school standouts, four from Nebraska and one from Iowa, to North Central Conference and national letters of intent to attend UNO in the fall of 2006.
The newest Mavericks are Kelli Goeser, 5-10, OH, Harlan, Iowa (Harlan Community HS/Nebraska Elite); Kayla Jansen, 5-5, DS, Omaha, Neb. (Marian HS/Nebraska Elite); Sara Kampschnieder, 5-10, OH, Howells, Neb. (Dodge HS/River City Juniors); Ellen Thommes, 6-0, MB, Omaha, Neb. (Marian HS/Nebraska Elite), and Jenna Allison, 5-11 MB, Gresham, Neb. (Cross County HS/South Central Juniors)
