McGill Earns NCC Player of Week Honor

Senior Beth McGill, who helped lead the Mavericks to a pair of season-opening victories last week, has been named a North Central Conference offensive player of the week. McGill scored two goals and added three assists in UNO's wins over Minnesota-Crookston and Rockhurst.
McGill shared the offensive honor with Minnesota Duluth's Kaisa Ranki. South Dakota's Candice Martinez earned defensive player of the week honors.
The Mavericks return home this weekend to host Truman State on Saturday and Missouri Southern Sunday at Ak-Sar-Ben Field. Both matches begin at 1:30 p.m.
