Soccer Game vs. Truman State Postponed

Omaha, Neb. - The UNO soccer team's game against Truman State on Saturday, Sept. 13 has been postponed due to weather in Kirksville, Mo. Heavy rain during the last few days has made the field unplayable. The game will be rescheduled in October.
The Mavericks are coming off a 1-0 win at Missouri Western University yesterday. Senior Casey Bigsby scored the winning goal in the opening minute of the match off an assist from MaryClaire Murnan. Sophomore goalie Lauren Fox made three saves for her second shutout in three games.
The Mavericks are now 3-0 and 1-0 in MIAA play. Their next game will be Thursday, Sept. 18 when they visit Central Missouri at 7:00 p.m.
