Meet the Mavs Wednesday at Werner Park

The UNO Maverick men's soccer team will sign autographs and take pictures with fans during the Omaha Storm Chasers game at Werner Park this Wednesday, Aug. 31 at 7 p.m.
Maverick players and coaches will also be handing out promotional items for the next UNO men's soccer home game on Sept. 23 vs. Mercer at 7 p.m., at Werner Park. A member of the Mavericks will also perform a unique version of the first pitch ceremony before the game.
Tickets for the Mavericks' second home game will go on sale Wednesday at 10 a.m., through the Storm Chasers' ticket office. For tickets, visit OmahaStormChasers.com or call (402) 738-5100.
A standing-room only crowd of 1,647 showed up to the Mavericks' first home game against UC Irvine at the UNO Soccer Field on Sunday night. The record attendance for a Summit League team playing at home is believed to be 2,117 when Oakland hosted Michigan on Sept. 30, 2009.
