Maverick Recruit Named to Hot 100

OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha men's tennis recruit Nathan Reekie was recently named to the Prince Hot 100 by tennisrecruiting.net.
The Hot 100 is a list of players who are currently playing excellent tennis and moving quickly up the rankings. The list is updated monthly and published in the third week of the month.
TennisRecruiting.net awards points to players for increasing their College Recruiting List ranking. Players with the highest point totals - and whose current ranking is higher than their ranking at any time over the previous 5 months - are placed on the monthly Hot 100 List. Players must also have a winning player record in the month of consideration.
Reekie, a 6'3, right handed player from Sugar Land, Texas, brings an impressive reume to the squad. He is currently rated a 3 Star recruit by the Tennis Recruiting Network and is the 26th rated player in the state of Texas.
"Showing up on a list like this clearly speaks to Nathan's potential and work ethic," said head coach Tyson Thomas. "His intense desire to improve mirrors our mentality as a team and when I saw that I knew he was going to be a great fit here in Omaha."
Omaha opens the spring schedule on Saturday, January 16 at North Dakota. First serve is set for 1:00 p.m. in Grand Forks.
