Open Tryouts Scheduled for March 18

OMAHA, Neb. - The Omaha men's soccer team will hold open tryouts for all full-time UNO students at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18 at Caniglia Field. All players should bring their own equipment and be ready to train on both grass and turf, depending on the weather.
In order to participate in the tryout each player MUST submit the following five forms BY Monday, March 16:
1. Proof of Physical within last 6 months (Click here for UNO Tryout Physical Form if needed)
2. Proof of Medical/Health Insurance (Copy of front and back of insurance card)
3. Proof of Sickle Cell Testing & Results
4. Release for Athletic Participation Form
5. Tryout Clearance Form (Turn in to Compliance Office with your spring semester schedule to prove full-time status at UNO).
If you are under 18 forms must be co-signed by a parent or guardian.
The first four forms (proof of physical, proof of insurance, proof of sickle cell testing & results and release for athletic participation) must all be submitted to the UNO Athletic Training Room in the lower level of the Sapp Fieldhouse prior to 5 p.m. on Monday, March 16.
The tryout clearance form with spring semester schedule must be turned in to the UNO Compliance Office, located on the upper floor of the Sapp Fieldhouse.
Players are asked to contact assistant coach Tim Walters (twaltersii@unomaha.edu) to let the UNO coaches know you are planning on attending tryouts and to confirm that you are not too old to try out.
