Women's Soccer Earns 14th Straight NSCAA Team Academic Award

OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha women's soccer team was recognized as a College Team Academic Award winner by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, the organization announced. A total of 859 soccer teams (305 men, 554 women) posted a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher, thereby earning the NSCAA College Team Academic Award for the 2014-15 academic year.
This is the 14th time the Mavericks have been recognized by the NSCAA for their academic performance under Head Coach Don Klosterman. UNO finished the academic year with a 3.37 cumulative GPA.
Omaha was recognized as one of 208 schools to have both their men's and women's programs recognized. This is the fourth consecutive year both Omaha soccer teams have been recognized for their work in the classroom.
