Women's Soccer Faces Drake Saturday Evening

OMAHA — The Omaha women's soccer team (1-3-2) returns to Caniglia Field on Saturday night to host Drake. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. CT, with the match streaming on MidcoSportsPlus. Saturday's match will feature "World Pup" — Pups on the Pitch Night, along with Alumni Night. Fans can purchase tickets here.
The Mavericks last outing at Caniglia Field was on Thursday, Sept 3. Omaha competed against Idaho State for the first time in program history, falling 2-0.
Sophomore forward Kendall Dobberstein (Omaha, Neb.) has scored the Mavericks lone goal of the 2026 season. Dobberstein found the back of the net in the 56th minute at Northern Iowa on Aug. 20, lifting the Mavericks to a 1-0 victory and their first win of the season.
Senior defender Grace Bartlam (Rosemount, Minn.) was named the Summit League Defensive Peak Performer of the Week on Aug. 25 after playing all 180 minutes during the second week of competition. Bartlam helped anchor Omaha's back line to consecutive shutouts and has totaled 521 minutes across six matches this season.
Omaha and Drake enter Saturday's matchup with the all-time series tied at 5-5, while the Mavericks hold a perfect 3-0 record against the Bulldogs at home.Â
