Schochenmaier Earns Player of the Week Honors

ELMHURST, Ill. – Goalkeeper Katlyn Schochenmaier collected the Summit League Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week award for her performance Aug. 31-Sept. 6.

Schochenmaier earned first career Defensive Player of the Week award. She faced 27 shots and made career-high 15 saves to tie school record in draw against North Dakota. In her two appearances during the week, Schochenmaier collected 18 saves and recorded a .900 save pct. in 155 minutes. She is Omaha's first Summit League Defensive Player of the Week honoree.

Omaha is 1-2-2 on the season and host Drake on Friday, Sept. 11. They then travel to Minnesota on Sunday, Sept. 13 at 1 p.m.
