Woodward Named Academic All-Summit

OMAHA, Neb. – Alex Woodward was selected to the 2017 Summit League Academic All-League Team as voted by a panel of Faculty Athletic Representatives and Sports Information Directors of the league's member institutions. Student-athletes were chosen for the honor based on their academic and athletic performances this season.
A standout academically, Woodward holds a 3.76 grade-point average as a computer engineering major. Woodward recorded a pair of Summit League singles and doubles victories on his way to nine overall wins in both singles and doubles this season.
To be eligible for the Academic All-League team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.30 (on a 4.0 scale), completed at least one full academic year at the current institution and participated in 50 percent of their team's competitions.
