OMAHA, Neb. – The Omaha women's soccer team suffered a 2-0 setback vs. Denver on Thursday night at Caniglia Field.

How It Happened
- The Pioneers jumped out to a quick lead in the second minute when Omaha goalkeeper Erin Bunker misplayed a ball sent towards the net, allowing Camryn MacMillan to tap in the score into open net.
- Andrea Daves took Omaha's first shot in the 11th minute, but her attempt flew left of the goal.
- Denver doubled its lead in the 63rd minute when Natalie Beckman scooped a loose ball on the box and found the back of the net.
- Omaha's second and final shot of the match came in the 82nd minute when Brylie Meyer's attempt sailed high of the net.
- Denver posted a 17-2 advantage in shots over the Mavericks, including 5-0 on goal.
- Daves and Meyer attempted the two shots for Omaha.
- Bunker recorded two saves while falling to 3-7-0 on the season.
- Goalkeeper Kelly Lemke played the entire second half for the Mavericks, tallying a save.
