Guhl Named to CoSIDA Academic All-District 7 Second Team

OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha women's soccer sophomore Kaitlyn Guhl was named to the 2019 CoSIDA Academic All-District 7 Second Team, the College Sports Information Directors of America announced on Thursday afternoon.
Guhl, who has a 4.0 grade-point average while majoring in biomechanics, started 13 matches while appearing in all 18 matches for the Mavericks this season.
The Houston, Texas, native helped anchor an Omaha defense that held opponents to one goal or less in 13 matches, including a quartet of shutouts.
Guhl is one of three Summit League players to earn the distinction this season and her selection is the first CoSIDA Academic All-District honor for the Mavericks in the Tim Walters era.
