Mavericks Picked Third in Summit League Preseason Poll

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Omaha men's tennis team has been picked to finish third in the Summit League this season, the league office announced on Thursday.
Junior transfer Matt Hulme was selected to the Summit League Men's Tennis Preseason Athletes to Watch List. Hulme played two seasons at Coastal Georgia, compiling a 29-2 record in singles action and reaching a ranking as high as No. 2 in the country.
Denver was selected as the league's favorite after collecting five first-place votes and 35 points. Drake finished second with 30 points and one first-place vote.
The Mavericks received the final first-place vote while tying with Valparaiso with 22 points in third place.
Omaha begins the 2020 season on Sunday, Jan. 19 at Wichita State.
