Omaha Athletics announced changes for the upcoming 2020 soccer season, including free admission to home men's and women's matches.
Changes Coming to Omaha Soccer Gamedays

OMAHA, Neb. – Omaha Athletics is implementing a new ticket policy for men's and women's soccer beginning with the upcoming season. Fans will now receive free general admission to all home matches.
"We realize that, with the many challenges our fans are facing today, this was an opportunity for us to give back to our fans and community," said Brent Meyer, Executive Associate Athletic Director. "Through athletics, we want to include everyone within our university and in our community in a return to some sense of normalcy."
Additionally, the Mavericks again will be working with local food trucks to be on-site providing new and unique food offerings for each home game. Limited general concession items also will be available for sale, and fans will be allowed to bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverage items as well.
New for this upcoming season, Lawlor's Custom Sportswear will be selling exclusive Maverick gear at select home men's and women's soccer matches, allowing fans more options than ever to show their Maverick pride on gamedays.
"We are excited to welcome back our passionate fans this fall to Caniglia Field, one of the finest facilities in college soccer," said Trev Alberts, Vice Chancellor for Athletics. "We hope that by opening our doors to our community that we are able to offer an incredible game-day atmosphere that is enjoyable and memorable for both long-time fans and new ones."
Also today, the Mavericks announced the cost of access to the "Corner Kick Club" is being reduced to $100 for the full men's and women's season. All Corner Kick Club members will receive credentialed access to field-level seating, giving them an unrivaled view of the action. The schedules for both teams are currently being finalized. Both the men's and women's teams combined for almost 20 home matches at Caniglia Field last season.
Head men's coach Bob Warming returns four starters from last year's team that made Omaha's fourth consecutive appearance in the Summit League Championship. The women's program, led by coach Tim Walters, returns seven starters from a team that finished seventh in the Summit League in 2019 after an appearance in the Summit League championship match the prior year. Both programs open the season in late August.
