Sallah Tabbed Defensive Player of the Week

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Freshman goalkeeper Nathanael Sallah has been tabbed the Summit League TicketSmarter Defensive Player of the Week, the league announced Monday afternoon. This marks Sallah's first career honor.
Sallah helped the Mavericks to their first win in Denver vs. the Pioneers in program history. The 2-0 Omaha win also marked his fourth win between the pipes this season.
He made two saves for the clean sheet, which goes down as his third shutout this season. Sallah's goals against average improved to .970 with the win, which ranks third in the Summit League overall.
Sallah and the Mavericks will be back in action this week with a pair of final regular season matches to be played at Caniglia.
First on the slate, Omaha hosts Campbell on Wednesday, Nov. 3 at 7 p.m. The Mavericks then host Western Illinois on Saturday, Nov. 6 at 3 p.m. for the regular season finale.
