SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Omaha senior Matt Hulme earned Summit League Athlete of the Week honors, the league office announced Tuesday.
Hulme went a perfect 4-0 last week in matches against DePaul and Western Michigan.
The Brisbane, Australia, native teamed up with Abdoul Ouattara to capture a pair of doubles wins in the No. 1 spot. In singles action, Hulme tallied a pair of straight-set victories in the No. 1 spot for the Mavericks against the Blue Demons and Broncos.
The Mavericks are home this weekend for the final two regular-season matches of the season. Omaha hosts Oral Roberts on Friday, April 23 at 11 a.m. and North Dakota on Sunday, April 24 at 2 p.m.
